This adaptive-reuse project includes upgrades to accommodate a change of use to an existing single-story brick building and includes upgrades to electrical, HVAC, and roof, and interior spaces in an urban infill site on Grand Avenue. Our client, Simon CRE, came to us with a challenge to design and complete City submittal documents for this 1940s adaptive reuse project in a very short turnaround time — less than 2 weeks. As a design build company, we were able to assess, design, evaluate constructability options and submit construction documents to meet the client’s deadline.
