About This Project

Built to house the innovative design, engineering and technical departments at Local Motors, this two story project offers a variety of work spaces to accommodate product development, group discussions, and individual tasks. The building is constructed with a steel column and glue-laminated structural system supporting a wood-framed enclosure. Although located within an existing high-bay prefabricated building, the new structure remains structurally independent.
