About This Project

The Paseo Wedding & Event Venue is a unique event experience situated in the foothills of the iconic Superstition Mountains east of Phoenix. Anchored by the “refined-rustic” style of the gabled Reception Pavilion, the venue is a sequence of diverse exterior, interior and covered spaces that offer unique “moments” for its visitors. In general, the weathered and rustic palette suggests a sense of time and belonging. Although functional and of structurally-sound construction, the rusted corrugated metal roofing, exposed aggregate concrete pathways, rusted support posts and weathered wood screens and cladding systems are intended to enhance the dialogue with the weathered and aging appearance of the surrounding desert to further enhance the character of the facility.
