Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the Flowers Building is a 6,000 SF mixed-use multi-tenant project that will house local commercial businesses and restaurants with an expected completion of January 2018. The design incorporates a custom metal façade developed using software to parametrically impose a macro image across a series of metal panels. The panels will then use digital fabrication tools to make a series of varying perforations that reflect the depth and shadowing of the figure. During the day, the image will be dormant, while integrated lighting will cause it to glow at night.
